Competition T&C;’s 1. The promoter is Castlepoint Shopping Park. 2. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom from 4 to 12 having a responsible adult applying on their behalf. Except employees of Castlepoint Shopping Park and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition. 3. The entrant will need to submit their story of Mr Corona Picture Book as their entry submission. There will be 4 requested chapters to submit, one per week, and as follows: Chapter 1 - The beginning: Mr Corona was born on a dull ugly day of February 2020…Chapter 2 - The invasion: Soon after thanks to his super powers Mr Corona could reach the 4 corners of the world…Chapter 3 - The Lockdown: People had to self-isolate and there was a lot of suffering but there were some positives here and there…Chapter 4 - The defeat: Scientists of the entire world got together to create Mr Vaccine… 4. The participants need to send their final entry photos or scans made up of all ‘four chapters’ to our Castlepoint Shopping Park Facebook, Instagram account or via email to sophie.mcpherson@velocityww.com without sending this the entry will be disqualified. The entrant must have completed both the sign up to the landing page and submit the final photos before the competition deadline to complete a successful application. 5. The picture book should include pictures and writing and can be creatively presented however the entrant desires. A minimum of 6 pages is required for the picture book. 6. The competition will run from 10th February to the closing date of 8th March 2021 at 3pm. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted. 3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition. 4. In order to enter the competition, the entrant MUST sign up via the competition landing page which is accessed via email, social media and website. Failing to do this before submitting your entry photos to us will mean your entry is disqualified. 5. The competition will not favour entries which are created with coloured paints/more advanced materials. The competition will be solely be judged on the story itself and any drawings it includes. 6. The prize is a professionally illustrated and printed copy of the winners story book, and a voucher of £100 from Waterstones or The Entertainer. The printed book will have the author’s name on it and will be printed in a number of copies, sold in the centre and the proceeds will be devoted to support a project for vulnerable children. Several runner ups will be chosen and will have their story book/ pictures presented at Castlepoint Shopping Park. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. 7. Winners will be chosen and contacted on the 10th March. The winner will be notified by email and/or DM on Twitter/Facebook within a week of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. 8. The prize will be held on site for the winner to collect for two months 9. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected from. This will be from the Management Suite at Castlepoint Shopping Park located below JD Sports. 10. The prize will not be awarded to a person if there is any inappropriate or offensive material drawn or written. 11. The winner (or winner’s guardian) will be required to respond and send a photo of the child and the original photo book before having the picture book professional printed. They will also need to consent to a photo holding the prize to be posted to our social platforms also. 12. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. 13. Only one entry will be accepted per person. 14. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter. 15. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate contact details supplied to any entrant. 16. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final. 17. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. 18. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions. 19. You MUST add your child’s name and age to the picture book, within the image title or included in the email/social media submission. Without the child’s name and age this entry will not be considered. 20. All of the proceeds of the limited edition book sale will go to Action for Children UK.

Free Colouring Starter Pack Terms and conditions The first 40 signups will receive one starter kit only consisting of a pack of colouring pencils, pens and printed template sheet. This can only be collected from the Management Suite at Castlepoint Shopping Park, located below JD Sports. We are unable to post this to you. You will receive an email confirming you have won one of the free starter packs if you are in the first 40 sign ups. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of the notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The starter kit contents are final and not negotiable. The starter kit can only be handed over by showing proof of the email and/or ID if requested of the winner on collection. The starter kit is non-refundable. The starter kit must be collected before 01/03/2021. If you or an appointed adult on your behalf is not able to collect this. The prize will no longer be available to you.
